If your interested here is a little something about myself.
I'm 55 years old. [My name is Doug Thompson] I live in the Dallas area, Texas.
I'm just an ordinary guy who loves woodworking and specialy making things for other people. It all started back in the state of Maine thats where i'm from originaly.
My father [Maynard Thompson] and i used to work construction which is only seasonal, so we needed something to do in the winter time, so we started woodworking. Making lamps,lawn decorations,lawn furniture,and just about anything anybody wanted. My step mother owned one of the Largest flea markets in Maine, which is called montsweague flea market about two miles south of wiscasset Me.flea market It didn't take us long to find out that we could sell everything we made.We bought 98% of our tools with the money we made.And we found out that we didn't have to charge people alot of money for our creations. So that made everybody real happy plus it always made us happy to see there faces when they looked at our things.Plus it kept us real busy which is what we wanted.But this was 18 years ago. I've since moved to Texas. My father has passed on.So i do a little bit of woodworking here in Texas i don't do any advertising i put things on my lawn and people will stop and look and sometimes buy.My real job is in a local Hospital as a plant operations engineer and carpenter. I've been there for 10 years.
